What makes Laos Assistance different from other emergency providers?
We are the only officially registered medical assistance company physically based in Laos. Unlike global call centres or remote providers, we offer on-the-ground expertise, real-time coordination, and direct access to local medical networks, ensuring faster and more reliable interventions when it matters most.
How quickly can you arrange a medical evacuation (MEDEVAC)
We can arrange emergency evacuations by road or air within just a few hours, depending on the patient’s location and weather. Our operations team is available 24/7 and handles all logistics swiftly, including coordination of international transfers to Thailand or other regional medical hubs.
We can also deploy Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), doctors, and specialised medical equipment to ensure safe and continuous care during transport.
We work closely with insurers, hospitals, and local authorities to fast-track approvals, minimising delays and ensuring rapid response even in remote or high-risk areas.

Do you have your own doctors and ambulances?
We work closely with a network of certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), doctors, and trusted healthcare providers across Laos. While we operate our own emergency teams in key locations, we also coordinate with partner hospitals, clinics, and ambulance services for wider coverage.
Are your services available to tourists and short-term visitors?
Currently, our services are accessible through existing agreements with institutional partners. This includes coverage for individuals whose assistance is initiated by a covered organization, such as an employer or a service provider. At this time, we do not offer direct-to-consumer (B2C) access, but we are actively exploring options to expand our services in that direction. Stay tuned for future updates as we work toward making our services available to a broader audience.
